Report: New Jersey re-signs Timmins

Jul 30, 2014, 8:30 PM EST

St. Louis Blues v Florida Panthers St. Louis Blues v Florida Panthers

The New Jersey Devils have re-upped with RFA forward Scott Timmins, per CapGeek.

Timmins, 24, was acquired prior to the start of last season from Florida in exchange for Krys Barch. He spent the entire year in AHL Albany, scoring 13 goals and 39 points in 61 games, but does have 24 games of NHL experience dating back to his time with the Panthers.

Timmins is perhaps best known as the guy that broke into someone’s house after a night of drinking while playing for Florida’s minor-league affiliate in San Antonio. He was later arrested for criminal trespassing.

Hasn’t done anything in the AHL. Lou has a cache of criminals on the roster. Rapists, B&E, etc… Real nice

i hope you know he was one of the top producers in Albany, and was second in assists per game. The only thing given up to get him was Krys Barch.

      • 950003cups - Jul 31, 2014 at 9:11 AM

You still sad that I wiped away all your dreams and visions about your rags who you thought had such a wonderful off season? They lost how many guys to FA?

      • nebbah306 - Jul 31, 2014 at 3:53 PM

Cups you’re a freaking fool man. They lost 3 players in FA.

Brian Boyle was EXPENDABLE due to Dom Moore (who’s better)

Benoit Pouliot, who was only with the Rangers for one year, was given a big contract that the Oilers had no business giving.

So Strahlman was the only meaningful loss, and Dan Boyle, while having lost a step or two, was no slouch.

Is that what you keep telling yourselves? You might be the only one dumb enough to believe that. I like the name you picked. It’s perfect for a rags fan.

You will nebbah win a cup!

    • thecheeman - Jul 31, 2014 at 8:15 AM

Come on man did you even read the article? He got so ridiculously drunk he thought he was in his own house.

      • 950003cups - Jul 31, 2014 at 9:12 AM

I remember when it happened. It was hysterical. And then I hear he became a Devil and all of the sudden it’s not so funny.

      • doknyc - Jul 31, 2014 at 9:59 AM

my 1st post giving cups a thumbs up… i recall us signing lindros and felt the same way lol

  2. 34defense2014 - Jul 31, 2014 at 12:40 AM

Don’t worry 95 it was an AHL move. But hey, you never know? Could be a diamond in the ruff? He may light it up in the AHL and be a call up guy when an injury occurs? He’s a “call up guy” no worries 95.

      3495cups,

      • 950003cups - Jul 31, 2014 at 9:15 AM

Contrary to the rags bible, there are more than 3 devils fans. 34defense is not me. Sorry to be the one who pee on your parade.

    Rattus Pattus …

One of the largest and most ‘vile’ muroids, it is a brown or grey rodent with a body up to 25 cm (10 in) long, and a similar tail length; the male weighs on average 350 g (12 oz) and the female 250 g (9 oz). Thought to have originated in northern China, this rodent has now spread to all continents except Antarctica, and is the dominant rat in Europe and much of North America, making it by at least this particular definition the most successful mammal on the planet after humans. With rare exceptions, the brown rat lives wherever humans live, particularly in urban areas and on sports internet sites.

      • 950003cups - Jul 31, 2014 at 9:22 AM

It sure was over. That was the team who almost had the presidents trophie. That was their one chance to win. Last year they had to cheat and injure Price to squeeze in the finals due to not facing any quality teams or goaltenders. Once they faced a real team they were exposed as the frauds they are and had to have their goalie like up snow on the goal line to help win a game.

        Happy days are here again!!!!!!

Shouldn’t you be stroking off to your sisters Barbie dolls now? Make sure to wash them before to put them back.

      • doknyc - Jul 31, 2014 at 9:34 AM

        cups,

i expect better from you… isnt your next so called ‘owned’ comment supposed to be, ” my daddy can beat up your daddy?” or perhaps the classic, “im rubber, youre glue….” one?

i swear, you have no people person skills… ill admit, seriously, your knowledge of the cap rather impressed me the other day however.. wish you could keep to that, its your strong point…

      • 950003cups - Jul 31, 2014 at 10:02 AM

Hahahahah! That’s a great one! I’m stumped. I have no response! That’s awesome!

I know you’re gonna think in kidding, but.. You should consider taking your talents to hollywood. Your writing skills are beyond anyone on this blog. Not sure if you know, but writers make a great living. I had a friend who was once discovered in a chat room. Had the same qualities as you. Today he makes well in the 6 figure range. You have that nitch. I’ve been reading your work for quite some time now. You!!!! You’re good!!!

I can’t wait for the day I see you on TV and say “I KNOW THAT GUY”. Americas Most Wanted and To Catch A Predetor are my favorites. Good luck.

      • doknyc - Jul 31, 2014 at 10:16 AM

well cups, i was actually being sincere about your knowledge of the cap… but whatever…. im done with you…

      • 950003cups - Jul 31, 2014 at 10:53 AM

But I don’t understand. I compliment your writing skills and you dont wanna be my friend. Is it because I made fun of your favorite team? Say it ain’t so dok! Say it ain’t so!

Oh the humanity!!! Do you have a heart?

Just go back to that time last year when I was teaching you how to dance. I filmed it. Back the. We were us!!

If you would like to see a classic example of American foolishness, click the link at the end of the article. A story about Texans and their guns really brings out the idiots.
