The Anaheim Ducks acquired Ben Lovejoy in a trade earlier in the 2013 regular season, and apparently like what they got.

The Ducks re-signed Lovejoy to a three-year deal, which was announced Thursday. The Ducks, citing club policy, did not disclose the terms of that deal.

According to Capgeek.com, it’s a three-year contract worth $3.3 million.

Lovejoy was slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 5.

Lovejoy began his NHL career with the Pittsburgh Penguins, before being picked up in a trade with the Ducks in February.

In 32 regular season games, Lovejoy had 10 assists. He also appeared in all seven playoff games for the Ducks in the opening round, with two helpers.
