Jim Slater and Michael Frolik scored 50-seconds apart to give the Winnipeg Jets an early 2-0 lead over the Vancouver Canucks.

Slater opened the scoring with his fifth of the season at 4:34 of the first period and Frolik added his 18th of the season at 5:24 as Winnipeg scored twice on four shots.

After Henrik and Daniel Sedin tied the game 2-2, Lee Stempniak netted his 13th to give the Jets a 3-2 lead after 20 minutes.
