Short answers: “Pretty badly” and “hmmm…kinda.”

You should probably just click play and watch.

“AV’s in trouble?” It was 1 game! Was the series supposed to be a sweep? Now ask if the Kings are in trouble.

the ONLY reason you have two wins is because of Varly.(also could be said the only reason you made the playoffs as well).

And the Wild are one measly game from knotting it up. The Avalanche are still the favorites to win the series, and rightfully so, but they looked awful last night (except for Varlamov).

The Avs still hold the cards — unfortunately.

I wouldn’t say Avs are in trouble, however they look like a young talented team. One minute they show their skill and high ceiling, but at times look very beatable. They look like a team with a lot of youngsters in the lineup. If the Wild can win on Thursday it is going to be a fun series to watch!

Should post these on a Utube channel so people with phones made prior 2014 can watch.

Avs in trouble!? LA and Tampa anyone?

Goalie Bob missed a great opportunity to prove his worth by shutting the door. “Pretty badly” is about right.

By no means are the Avs in trouble. They are part of the top 3 best coached teams in the league, and will be able to rise to the occasion no doubt. Won’t be easy, but not in trouble.

The Avalanche are just fine. As a Colorado fan, I didn’t expect a sweep of the Wild, though it would have been nice!

In truth, Darcy Kuemper played a heck of a game as did the rest of the Minnesota Wild. Sadly, the actions of Matt Cooke overshadowed that fact. That event aside, Minnesota played a very controlled hockey game and made the Avalanche look pedestrian in the process. My hats off to the Wild!

That said, I think Colorado bounces back just fine. Patrick Roy knows the score and has been here plenty of times. I suspect a very dialed in and focused team on the ice for game four. It’s in no way a gimmie as Kuemper has been terrific, but I think he’ll face more than 22 shots tomorrow night.

    Go Avs!

Nice, well reasoned post. I wonder if you’re one of the guys I bought a beer for last night? The Avs fans I sat next to were pretty good guys (although I still hope they go home bummed Thursday night). Now, as to the Hawks fans last year. . . . .
