According to a report out of Russia, Boston Bruins goaltender Niklas Svedberg has signed a one-year deal in the KHL with Salavat.
Svedberg is a restricted free agent.
In 18 games this season the 25-year-old had a 7-5-1 record to go along with a 2.33 G.A.A. and a .918 save percentage.
Former Calgary Flames prospect Leland Irving was one of three goaltenders to play for Salavat this season.
