Things are going from bad to worse for the Predators.

Having already blown a 3-0 lead on Chicago in Game 1 of their opening-round series -- at home, no less -- the Preds announced that veteran center Mike Fisher would be lost for the remainder of the game with a lower-body ailment.

Fisher, who missed the final two games of the regular season with a lower-body ailment (unclear if it’s related), played 5:07 in the first period but took just one 25-second shift in the second before exiting the contest for good.

This has been a tough season health-wise for the 34-year-old, who missed extensive time at the start of the year following a torn Achilles tendon. When in the lineup, though, Fisher was a key contributor that finished with 39 points in 59 games, and played big minutes for a Preds team that isn’t especially deep at center.
