Forward Matt Beleskey will make his return to the lineup tonight when the Anaheim Ducks visit the Minnesota Wild.

Beleskey has missed 13 games due to a shoulder injury suffered on Feb. 15 against the Washington Capitals.

“I think we’ve done everything we can skating-wise, shooting, working with goalies here and everything,” Beleskey said per The Orange County Register. “Obviously everything happens a little quicker in games so [tonight] if I’m in, I’ll keep it real simple. Just play my game. Hopefully it falls right back into place.”

The 26-year-old, who was the subject of trade rumors, is still hoping to get a deal done with the Ducks.

Beleskey is in the final year of a two-year, $2.7 million deal and is set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

“We continue to work through the process,” Beleskey’s agent, Murray Kuntz, told PHT earlier this month. “Matt’s priority is to remain in Anaheim for many years to come.”

Beleskey has 21 goals and 30 points in 56 games this season while averaging 14:28 in time on ice.

“He’s got 21 goals and he’s a physical player,” coach Bruce Boudreau said. “How many people would want that on your team? I would venture to guess quite a few. Including me.”
