The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that winger David Clarkson will be sidelined four to six weeks with a torn oblique muscle.
Clarkson, acquired last week in a unique trade with Toronto, suffered the injury Tuesday night against Washington.
The injury may mean Clarkson’s season is over. In three games for the Jackets, the 30-year-old failed to register a point and had two shots on goal.
The Jackets’ last game is Apr. 11.
