The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired a first-round pick, a third-round pick and Radko Gudas from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for defenseman Braydon Coburn.

Both draft picks Tampa is sending Philly are for the 2015 NHL Draft. However, there is a condition on the first-round pick. If the Lighting miss the playoffs and somehow end up with the first overall selection, the Flyers will receive the New York Rangers 2015 first-round pick previously acquired by Tampa Bay in the Martin St. Louis trade.

Coburn has a goal and eight assists to go along with a minus-1 rating while averaging 20:14 in time on ice in 39 games this season. The 30-year-old has one year remaining on his four-year, $18 million contract, which has a cap hit of $4.5 million.

Gudas underwent knee surgery in early January and was expected to need four months of recovery time.

The 24-year-old had two goals and five points to go along with a minus-5 rating while averaging 17:00 in ice time in 31 games this season. Gudas has one year remaining on his three-year, $2.975 million contract, which has a cap hit of $1.4 million.

The deal broke moments after the Lightning sent Brett Connolly to the Boston Bruins for a pair of draft picks.
