Prior to Wednesday’s Rivalry Night game between the Bruins and Rangers, NHL insider Bob McKenzie broke down the latest in the Evander Kane-Winnipeg Jets saga... including the latest development, which suggests that Kane is dealing (and playing) with “significant injury problems.”

This comes just one day after Kane was parked in the press box for Tuesday’s homecoming game in Vancouver.

Nobody’s quite sure why it happened, with the club only saying it was a coach’s decision. Kane’s not divulging, and neither is Paul Maurice, but one thing is clear -- the 23-year-old was a healthy scratch last night, and wasn’t sat because of injury.
