The Pittsburgh Penguins acquired Maxim Lapierre from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Marcel Goc Tuesday night.
Lapierre had two goals and nine points to go along with 16 penalty minutes in 45 games with the Blues this season.
The 29-year-old will likely slot in as the Penguins’ fourth line center. He is expected to make his debut for Pittsburgh on Wednesday night against the Washington Capitals.
