Tonight’s game between the Islanders and Rangers on Long Island is a go.
There were concerns that the game would be canceled due to the winter storm that hammered, and continues to hammer, the Northeast. However, the worst snowfall predictions for coastal New York were not realized. The Long Island Rail Road, as evidence, is expected to resume service by this afternoon.
The Islanders blanked the Rangers, 3-0, in the teams’ last meeting on Jan. 13 at MSG.
