The Detroit Red Wings responded to Mike Babcock’s goaltending change with three second period goals.

Buffalo scored three times on the game’s first six shots to open a 3-0 lead in the first period and end Wings’ starter Petr Mrazek’s night early.

Gustav Nyquist, Drew Miller and Tomas Tatar scored second period goals tying the game 3-3 after 40 minutes.
