PHT Morning Skate: Junior hockey player manages to clothesline himself

Mitchell Skiba

Mitchell Skiba, who plays for the Alpena Flyers of the Midwest Junior Hockey League, got internet famous when he accidentally took himself out with his own stick while trying to leave the ice:

Skiba said he’s okay via Twitter. He seems to be taking the entire event rather well as he’s retweeted several comments about his accident, including a Vine that features both the clothesline and a big hit he delivered prior to that (Warning: Some of Tweets in his timeline contain foul language).
