The New York Islanders were without forward Mikhail Grabovski for the remainder of Friday’s game against the New Jersey Devils.
According to the Islanders, Grabovski suffered a lower-body injury and would not be returning. His last shift came just after the midway point of the second period, according to the league’s time on ice tracker.
In 37 games with the Islanders this season, the 30-year-old Grabovski has six goals and 14 points.
