Another AHL demotion has left Johan Larsson frustrated with Sabres

Johan Larsson has turned bearish on his future with the Buffalo Sabres.

Sent down (again) to Rochester this weekend, the 22-year-old winger -- the same one who said during the summer that he’d “proven what I can in the AHL” -- failed to earn the trust of Sabres coach Ted Nolan during an eight-game run with the big club.

“I felt my time was going to come,” he told the Democrat and Chronicle. “Then I was right back to the fourth line.”

Larsson, a pending restricted free agent, said it’s “tough to answer” what his future holds. For now, he’ll just try to add to the 23 points he’s scored in 26 games for the Americans.
