Montreal forward Max Pacioretty was back at the club’s practice facility and is listed as day-to-day following a scary incident against Anaheim on Thursday night, per TSN 690.
Pacioretty sent to hospital for evaluation following this big hit from Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner:
Pacioretty left the game immediately and didn’t return; Stoner wasn’t penalized on the play and, per multiple reports, won’t face any supplemental discipline from the NHL’s Department of Player Safety.
The club’s leading scorer, Pacioretty may be available for Montreal’s next game on Saturday against Ottawa. It’s the Habs’ final game at home before setting off on a five-game road swing through Long Island, Carolina, Florida, New Jersey and Pittsburgh.
