Video: Pacioretty taken to hospital, reportedly no hearing expected for Stoner after questionable hit

Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty was injured on a questionable and late hit from Anaheim Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner, and was taken to hospital, according to a report on Twitter.

As per John Lu of TSN, Pacioretty was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons after suffering an upper-body injury on the hit, which occurred early in the third period. There was no call on the play.

Stoner did fight Montreal forward Brandon Prust a few minutes after the hit. The Canadiens lost the game by a final score of 2-1.
