Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty has left Thursday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks and will not return, the club stated via Twitter.

Pacioretty was hit late and into the boards from an awkward angle by Anaheim defenseman Clayton Stoner. There was no call on the play. Pacioretty’s head appeared to hit hard into the boards, along with his left shoulder.
