Prior to puck drop between Tampa Bay and New York Monday night the Rangers and Lightning paid tribute to Martin St. Louis for reaching career point No. 1,000.
The 39-year-old reached the milestone in Friday’s 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
Lightning captain Steven Stamkos presented St. Louis with a sterling silver plate from Tiffany’s while the Rangers gave St. Louis a ping pong table and a gold plated stick to commemorate the milestone.
