Jonathan Toews doesn’t seem too compassionate about the plight of the Edmonton Oilers. The Chicago Blackhawks’ captain opened the scoring less than four minutes into the first period of Saturday’s game, with a nifty move to the backhand.

The Blackhawks finished the opening period with a 3-0 lead over the Oilers, who entered this game in the midst of their second five-game losing streak of the season.

Edmonton goalie Ben Scrivens allowed three goals on eight shots.
