Shaw might miss both of Blackhawks’ weekend games

The Chicago Blackhawks won’t have Andrew Shaw in the lineup on Saturday and he could miss Sunday’s game, too, according to the Chicago Sun-Times’ Mark Lazerus.

Shaw, 23, is dealing with what’s being called an upper-body injury. As mentioned earlier this week, he’s been remarkably durable for a pesky player who tends to draw his opponents’ ire, but Chicago might be without him against Edmonton tonight and Vancouver tomorrow.

It’s been a bit of a disappointing offensive season for the offensive presence. After scoring 39 points in 80 regular season games and eight points in 12 playoff contests in 2013-14, Shaw only has six points in 18 games in 2014-15.

That’s not the only interesting bit of injury news for Chicago, as Patrick Sharp is skating with the team again but won’t be available during their current road trip (which spans the rest of November), CSNChicago.com’s Tracey Myers reports.
