Buffalo Sabres goaltender Jhonas Enroth entered tonight’s game against the San Jose Sharks for the start of the second period because Michal Neuvirth suffered a lower-body injury.
Neuvirth turned aside 10 shots to keep the game scoreless through 20 minutes and Enroth took things from there to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-1 victory. He made some good saves along the way, but the most memorable and unusual was his diving, back save towards the end of the second period.
