Report: Taylor Hall’s injury might not be serious

If Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos is correct, then the Edmonton Oilers mostly dodged a bullet regarding Taylor Hall’s scary fall from Saturday night.

Kypreos reports that the 22-year-old’s injury is worse than day-to-day, but isn’t expected to be serious. He also notes that the Oilers are expected to provide an update later on Sunday, so we might not need to wait very long to see if this is an accurate update.

The Oilers are unfortunately accustomed to seeing the star winger hurt. Some might say that it’s a byproduct of his cannonball-like style, yet it’s difficult to complain too much when you consider his often-brilliant results.

Considering how violent that fall was, Hall only taking minimal damage would be a nice break for the Oilers.
