Anaheim Ducks defenseman Ben Lovejoy is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with a fractured finger.

Lovejoy suffered the injury during a third period fight with Joe Pavelski Sunday night.

In Lovejoy’s absence, the Ducks have recalled defenseman Josh Manson from the American Hockey League’s Norfolk Admirals.

Manson, 23, was the Ducks’ sixth round selection (160th overall in 2011).

In 16 AHL games, over two seasons, Manson has two points and 30 penalty minutes.

If the last name sounds familiar, it should, Josh’s father Dave Manson played 1103 NHL games with the Blackhawks, Oilers, Jets, Coyotes, Canadiens, Leafs and Stars.
