Colorado defenseman Ryan Wilson is back on the shelf with an injury -- and no, this is not a repeat.

Wilson, who’s battled extensive health problems over the last few seasons, suffered a shoulder injury during Tuesday’s loss to Florida and will be out of the lineup for the next 2-3 weeks, per the Denver Post.

The 27-year-old rearguard, who’s spent his entire professional career with the Avs organization, has appeared in three games this year, posting a minus-3 rating while seeing his ice time dwindle after getting over 18 minutes in a 3-0 loss to Minnesota two weeks ago.

Wilson was limited to just 40 games over the last two season due to back, knee and ankle injuries. The ailments have kept him from building off his first three seasons in Colorado, during which he racked up 58 points while emerging as a promising puck-moving defenseman.
