On Wednesday, L.A. received some good news in an otherwise tumultuous week -- injured defenseman Jake Muzzin declared himself ready to make his season debut when the Kings host the Sabres at Staples on Thursday.
Muzzin, who missed all six games this year with an upper-body injury, will draw in looking to replace what the Kings lost after Slava Voynov was suspended indefinitely following his arrest on suspicion of domestic assault. Voynov was averaging over 23 minutes per game, so it’s possible Muzzin could be thrown directly into some heavy ice time -- even though he’s not quite at 100 percent.
Muzzin says he is in for tomorrow - that’s what he thought yesterday would happen
