Seguin, Andersen and Stamkos are NHL’s three stars of the week

Tyler Seguin

Dallas’ Tyler Seguin, Anaheim’s Frederik Andersen and Tampa Bay’s Steve Stamkos have been named the NHL’s three stars from the past week.

From the league:

Seguin led the NHL with eight points (4-4—8) in three games to help the Stars earn five out of a possible six standings points.

Andersen went 4-0-0 with a 1.22 goals-against average, .955 save percentage and one shutout to help the Ducks extend their winning streak to five games.

Stamkos led the NHL with five goals and tied for second in the League with six points to power the Lightning to two victories in three starts.

All good choices, though Flames d-man T.J. Brodie probably deserved some mention -- Brodie had five points in four games last week (and is currently tied for the NHL scoring lead among blueliners), helping Calgary win three of four to close out a tough six-game road trip.
