A fan inside the Bell Centre in Montreal somehow came to the decision to shine a green laser pointer at Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask during Thursday’s game against the Canadiens.

The action was caught on replay. You can see in the video a green laser pointer scurrying around Rask, who was in his crease. The screen grab in the photo picked out a speck of the laser against the right pad of Rask while play was going on behind the net.

According to Sportsnet, the fan was removed from the game.

Rask was pulled in the third period after allowing five goals on 23 shots, and the Bruins lost by a final score of 6-4. Milan Lucic mimed raising the Stanley Cup after taking a penalty late in the third period.

“At me? I saw it in the offensive zone. Good thing I didn’t go blind,” Rask said afterward, as per Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com.
