The Pittsburgh Penguins unveiled a new third jersey to be worn during the 2014-15 season on Friday.

The jersey resembles the one worn during the team’s glory days when Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr were helping the Penguins win back-to-back Stanley Cups in the early 90’s.

They feature gold lettering and numbering on the back while the sleeves are predominetly gold with black numbering.

Have a look:

The Penguins will wear their “Pittsburgh Gold” jerseys 12 times this season beginning Oct. 22 against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Here is the complete list of dates the Penguins will wear their third jerseys:

Hopefully the classic look can help lead the Penguins back to the promise land, a place they haven’t been since winning the Stanley Cup in 2009.
