    Ok article on the sharks. Though “in the cold light of day, and limited in what he could take on salary-wise, what options did the GM really have?” is questionable. SJ is sitting pretty cap-wise. Wilson had options but didn’t/doesn’t need to blow up the team. He also didn’t need to come out talking about a rebuild and then sign Scott and Brown while letting rumors about Thornton/Marleau continue to burn. There doesn’t seem to be a clear strategy behind his moves after the playoff collapse.

      Wasn’t one of the guesses that his clear strategy was covering his own ass? Trying to deflect blame onto others within his organization?
