Video: Tyler Seguin, human teebox

Seguin

Before we get to the video yes, this is a slow news day.

On Thursday, Tyler Seguin hosted a charity golf tournament at Nobleton Lakes Golf Club in Ontario and, in keeping with the spirit of an offseason golf tourney featuring a number of uninhabited, potentially well-served NHLers… things got a little wacky.

The evidence:

Nobody got injured (though my eyes kinda hurt from looking at that guy’s pants), which that has to be a relief — remember, we’re not that far removed from Erik Johnson tearing both his ACL and MCL during a freak golf cart accident during the summer of 2008.

I wonder how much money was raised by doing this?

    “Ohhhh it tickled!”

There has to be some kind of prior understanding that the person swinging the club is semi-accurate. No way in hell would I be allowed to take the swing. I’ve just as much a chance of breaking the club over his leg as much as hitting the ball.

Don Cherry reportedly demanding the guy’s pants be tailored into a suit. Stay tuned

Tyler “stubby” Seguin had nothing to worry about.

I’m sure every teenage girl was holding their breath.

Half of something is still better than nothing.

There was no way this could have ended poorly…

    “OHHHHH it tickled” lmfao!

  9. dueman - Jul 18, 2014 at 12:58 PM

All jokes aside, this was a really stupid decision on Seguin’s part. If things didn’t go as planned, he could have been seriously injured. I’m sure that The Dallas management group isn’t laughing too hard at this…

Welp. Didn’t take the no-fun police too long to arrive.

    DIVOT!

It looks impressive but really all he was risking was a bruise on his leg/hip. Not that there’s anything pleasant about that.

For the money, he needs to rotate 90 degrees clockwise

Does anyone else think that’s just a little bit messed up to even think that up? Weird dude..

validates the rumor that hockey players have little ones

The club swinger is a golf pro (Todd Keirstead – Golf With Attitude) and has done this several times. Check out his website and YouTube to see who all he has “laid down, bent over and tee’d up” for charity!
It truly is an amazing show to see him do! Many, many laughs and people being heckled happen at all the events! All in good fun!

Mike: “uninhabited”? Are they the only ones “well-served”?

I was just about to post the same thing. What the heck is an uninhabited NHLer? Or, perhaps more frighteningly, do we know of any who ARE inhabited?
