Video: Justin Williams scores another big goal

Jun 13, 2014, 8:41 PM EDT

It’s hasty to think too deeply about the 2014 Conn Smythe winner right now, yet plenty people are doing so. At the moment, it would be a tight race, yet many believe Justin Williams would be the guy. He strengthened that argument by punching in a loose puck to give the Los Angeles Kings an early 1-0 lead in Game 5:

The Kings have only scored the first goal against the New York Rangers once in this series. That happened in Game 3, which resulted in a 3-0 win for Los Angeles.

The Rangers obviously need to hope that their luck will turn around on Friday the 13th …

Williams deserves the smythe more than anyone by a fair amount. Just can’t wait to see the kings raise the cup. It’s been a long time since the winner of the finals was known to everyone, except Rags fans, before the series even started.

It would be great to have a commentator from the West to counter these biased Eastern people.
