WATCH LIVE: New York Rangers at Philadelphia Flyers (Game 3)

Apr 22, 2014, 7:14 PM EDT

Steve Mason, Ray Emery AP

At this moment, Ray Emery is the right choice in Game 3 for the Philadelphia Flyers. Just ask Steve Mason.

Still, those who tend to speak up in hindsight will circle the organization if Tuesday’s game against the New York Rangers goes poorly. The two fight to determine which team will take a 2-1 lead in their first-round series. That contest kicks off on CNBC and can be found via the live stream link below.

Huge game tonight. Not a must-win, but important nonetheless. Let’s go Rangers!

Oh its a must win that your gonna lose ! See your already preparing yourself for a soft landing !

    • elmerbrownelmerbrown - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:32 PM

I must clarify a must win for the FLYERS taking into account your goaler can win games on his own and the Flyers are not tearing it up at MSG for the Rangers a must win I would agree with you ! Flyers in my opinion must win on home ice and in my opinion cannot go back to MSG any less then up 3 to 1

    Lets go Flyers!!!

  3. idonthavethebloodyoucrave - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:33 PM

So far, it looks like the Flyers from Game 1 have shown up.

Philly fans think they own this website

  5. 7mantel - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:43 PM

Flyers should know by now the NYR are not the Pens and won’t let them get into their heads !

    • elmerbrownelmerbrown - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:46 PM

I agree with your statement but the Rangers are great embellishers 2 minors on acting

      • 7mantel - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:48 PM

which two the crosscheck to the face and the boarding ?

      • elmerbrownelmerbrown - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:50 PM

        yup and yup

      • 7mantel - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:51 PM

As we talk about embellishing McDonald dives

      • elmerbrownelmerbrown - Apr 22, 2014 at 8:52 PM

Please he should have went down like a sack of potatoes when he was cross checked after the call

      • elmerbrownelmerbrown - Apr 22, 2014 at 10:41 PM

7 looks like the only way the flyers win this series is if the Rangers are too bruised to stand up from blocking shots !

      • kellyb9 - Apr 22, 2014 at 9:04 PM

At this point, I wish they’d just let them play. The penalties in this game are so inconsistent (along with the rest of the playoffs).

      • elmerbrownelmerbrown - Apr 22, 2014 at 9:09 PM

Your right I really would not want to see any team this time of year lose because of throwing the head back all teams play to hard to lose on a fake me out whiplash and I blame the refs they get together on a puck going out of play but not the fake me out !

  6. whammy71 - Apr 22, 2014 at 9:56 PM

It’s over – Flyers suck! Claudia and the band of misfit gingers are done for the night. Expect the goon show to start.

    • whammy71 - Apr 22, 2014 at 10:22 PM

Well, well, well……it only took 6:22 for the Cryers to get dirty.

  7. bleedrangerblue - Apr 22, 2014 at 9:57 PM

Elmerbrownunderdog. You are full of excuses. What’s up with that. These are 2 great teams here. No dives! No ref probs! It’s will power. Cheer not sneer your team. LGR!!!

  8. bleedrangerblue - Apr 22, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Elmerbrownunderdog might as well blame it on obamacare. Flyer fans are a joke

  9. whammy71 - Apr 22, 2014 at 10:28 PM

    Oh Danny Boy…..OH Danny Boy!!!!

  10. bleedrangerblue - Apr 22, 2014 at 10:53 PM

Blocking shots? For real ?? Flyers are blocking just as many. It’s will power here. My god!! It’s unbelievable what you post. Nows when you throw Emery under the bus.

  11. bleedrangerblue - Apr 22, 2014 at 11:02 PM

Blocking shots?? That’s your excuse!!?? Wow!!!!!!!! You were outplayed. You had more shots YES but like game 2 when you had more blocks the flyers capitalized and eventually won. Let me break It down for you Elmer(not a knowledgeable nhl fan) your team was beaten. You lost. You were outscored. And the best part of the game was… Carcillo getting the middle finger after the goal , after the lousy call on the clean CLEAN stickcheck.

  12. bleedrangerblue - Apr 22, 2014 at 11:05 PM

    And he says nothing
