Video: Burns beats Quick with floater goal

Apr 22, 2014, 10:40 PM EDT

Jonathan Quick‘s struggles against the Sharks continued early on Tuesday night, as Brent Burns beat the L.A. ‘tender with what appeared to be a lob wedge shot — or a knuckleball, depending on your sports analogy of choice — just 3:16 into the game:

Tough to tell if Trevor Lewis deflected the puck at all, or if he simply provided a timely screen on Burns’ “slapper.” Either way, it’s yet another tough goal surrendered by Quick, who came into tonight with a ghastly 7.20 GAA after allowing 12 markers in back-to-back losses in San Jose.

Really soft goal. Put a couple more past him in the last 40 Sharks!

Kings fans chanting Niemi after a goal. How about the 7 GAA of Quick LA? Haha
