Video: Ducks’ Robidas injured after awkward fall, collision with Stars’ Garbutt

Apr 21, 2014, 11:05 PM EST

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Stephane Robidas left Monday’s game against the Dallas Stars with an apparent leg injury after an awkward fall and collision with Stars forward Ryan Garbutt.

The incident occurred in the first minute of the second period. The 37-year-old Robidas was in obvious pain on the ice, as a member of the Ducks’ training staff attended to him. It also appeared to be his right leg that was injured.

Tough break for him after being injured for most of the season. Nice show of class by the Stars fans

Garbutt probably feels horrible, not jsut for injuring another player but for injuring a former teammate.

hope to see him return this playoffs or next year but at his age who know what can happen especially with the look his wife was giving
