Buffalo Sabres goalie Matt Hackett wasn’t the only player to get hurt in their 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins.

Defenseman Christian Ehrhoff (concussion) and forwards Matt D’Agostini (lower-body), Brian Flynn (lower-body), and Chris Stewart (re-injured ankle) all left the Saturday afternoon tilt with separate injuries as John Vogl of The Buffalo News shares.

It’s a tough enough year on us in our situation with the standings, but also to lose bodies the way we’ve been doing is an unfortunate thing, too,” McBain said. “I’ve never seen anything like it in my career. I’ve never heard of anything like it.”

All five players will not suit up against the New York Islanders on Sunday for the final game of the season.

The Sabres have the worst record in the NHL and will have the best odds of landing the first overall pick in the NHL Draft. The Sabres’ injury list headed into the game was already long enough with guys like Tyler Myers leading a list of others out of action.

Now the real question now is: Who the heck is going to play for this team tomorrow?

They fired Linday Ruff why? Even as a Bruins fan I hate to see this franchise suffer so. But they seem to make the decisions that perpetuate it.

Someday Buffalo, someday you will taste glory. Best wishes to Jim Kelly and his family.

They fired Ruff because Regier gave him such crappy players that he couldn’t coach them.

This sucks for Rochester, anyone know if they need to win tomorrow to make playoffs or can we borrow the other half of their team again?

Lindy knew the rebuilding was gonna be painful. He is smiling now

They made the decision and committed to a full rebuild and have amassed many picks the past 2 years and the next 2 years. Guess those are the decisions that perpetuate it? Can’t take Boston fans seriously

might want to reread the first line “Buffalo Sabres goalie Matt Hackett wasn’t the only player to get hurt in their 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins.”

If you’re calling yourself a Sabers fan and you defend John Scott, you’re not a very good Sabers fan. He isn’t good for your team. He can’t play. What’s the point of having a big goof on your team? Not goon, goof.
Love the first round matchups! Welcome to the east Detroit! The west will be amazing to watch and it’ll really test my ability to work with serious sleep deprivation staying up till 1:30 watching those games go into OT.

Rochester will be alright for Sunday.

They are sitting at 7th now, undefeated in April…And the rookies are progressing. Let them stay there and win a Calder Cup.
