Prust was hurt Tuesday in a game versus Colorado. It’s reportedly a rib injury. The gritty 30-year-old forward has six goals and seven assists in 52 games, with 92 hits.

The Canadiens play the Leafs Saturday in Toronto and are in Boston Monday to take on the Bruins.

Ya a guy that can fight, shutdown opponents better players, play both centre and wing, kill penalties, sacrifice the body, and be a leader who would want that?

It’s his contract that no one wants.Way too much coin for the grit you get.

This is a big loss for the Habs. He is a very versatile player, who looks after his teammates. Not a heavyweight, but he will take on anyone who touches one of his teammates.
