Fight breaks out during Blackhawks-Avalanche game; man covers little girl’s eyes as she watches

Things got a little intense between the Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, with Sheldon Brookbank and Cody McLeod dropping the gloves in the first period.

They were both throwing some big punches, too.

Now, a little humor to the situation. A little girl in the front row (hey, great seats) was watching the fight when the man she was sitting with covered her eyes. Maybe the best part? She tried to remove the large arm from her face so she could see what was going on.

Now, if you watched the GIF from the above link, and you’re counting, there are three small children that enter into the frame in the background. Only the little girl’s vision was momentarily obstructed.

Who cares, the Flames have 5 goals on 10 shots and Joni Ortio has a shut out vs the ducks. You don’t see that everyday, hopefully the ducks have a third goalie.

To think so many people were upset with realignment. Colorado and Chicago weren’t in the same division before. Now just wait until they play a playoff series or two…
