Video: Snow piling up at Soldier Field for Stadium Series game between Blackhawks, Penguins

Mar 1, 2014, 8:59 PM EDT

So, it’s been snowing in Chicago. And snowing quite a bit, as the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins do battle at Soldier Field in Saturday’s Stadium Series game.

Below is a video clip of just how big an impact the snow has had in the first period of tonight’s game, with Brent Seabrook having to battle the elements while trying to play the puck up ice.

Thank you, Cam Tucker. I was wondering when someone would address this. It MUST be difficult to puck handle…Pulitzer stuff right here!!!

Hey Dave Molinari… No one cares what you think. The aesthetic appeal is obvious, and the league and NBC are cashing in with gate receipts and ratings.

@dave molinari: total attendance at Soldier Field tonight was more than at any Chicago Bears home game this season…… just sayin.
