There’s still time for Canada or Sweden to score a goal or two for the ages, but we’ve already seen some tremendous goals in the 2014 Winter Games.

From Alex Ovechkin starting Russia’s run on a hopeful note by scoring just 77 seconds into the team’s opener to T.J. Oshie‘s shootout heroics that marked the beginning of the end for the Russians.

Then of course there’s Shea Weber‘s rocket shot for Canada against Autria that was so fast that they actually had to subject it to a video review make sure it went in.

it will be the Golden Goal if the game ends 2 – 1. Otherwise the Golden Goal will go Toews if the Swedes don’t score.

I’m from Canada, a third-world country to NBC, so I can’t watch. I’m sure it was good though.

But you have the CBC, a company that blocks me from streaming their content down here in the USofA….so we can’t have it all. Unless we buy cable, two satellite dishes & the NHL Center Ice package!
