Video: Hey look, another great Ryan Miller save

Jan 19, 2014, 12:11 AM EDT

Wins might come and go for the Buffalo Sabres even as they’ve shown some life lately, but if you’re interested in big saves, this team has been providing them with frequency. Ryan Miller added another entry on Saturday, as he robbed Columbus Blue Jackets forward RJ Umberger:

To review (and really, as an excuse to post these videos again), the Sabres enjoyed big saves from both of their goalies last week. Miller kicked things off with this jaw-dropper:

While his backup Jhonas Enroth provided a highlight reel stop of his own:

The Sabres are almost certainly out of the playoff picture at this point, but their goalies are making their games much easier on the eyes lately.

I don’t even like the sabres but I don’t agree with the “he’s in rare form” line.. Guys been lights out for 90% of his career. Image what he could do on a team like the hawks blues bruins or kings.

In more relevent news. “Miller lost game to Jackets, because he couldnt make the save when it counted”. Bob had an equal if not better game.

…or, as someone who actually knows something about hockey would say, “Miller lost the game because his team can’t score.”

In the last two weeks it seems like every night there’s been an unreal save

There are 2 separate stories about what Buffalo players did in the game. Funny no mention that the CBJ actually won the game & are in the midst of a 6 game winning streak.

Geez, I don’t know, maybe because the story WAS about some incredible saves by Buffalo goaltenders and not about the Columbus game itself? Just a thought. Are you actually upset because every story isn’t about your team? What are you, 10?
