It was an entertaining back and forth game between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators on Thursday, but the Habs can thank Carey Price for the full two points.

Price made 40 saves and his Canadian Olympic teammate P.K. Subban scored the overtime winner just 23 seconds into the extra frame to give the Canadiens a 5-4 victory in Ottawa. The Habs roared out to a three-goal lead, gave up four goals and needed Tomas Plekanec to answer in the third period to send it overtime.

The Subban winner, a snap shot as he was falling, just trickled over the goal line. Craig Anderson got most of the puck, but not all of it.

At the other end, it was Price who stole the show. His teammates sure noticed.

Habs forward Alexei Emelin fell awkwardly into the boards in the third period and was shaken up on the play. But he remained in the game.
