Video: Mike Brown, Aaron Volpatti slug it out

The San Jose Sharks and Washington Capitals don’t play against each other very often, but that didn’t stop Mike Brown and Aaron Volpatti from getting after it in an intense fight on Tuesday:

That may be a “staged fight” but the two certainly didn’t go through the motions once they dropped the gloves. (Unless you mean throwing lots of punches when you say going through the motions.)

This was Brown’s ninth bout of the season while Volpatti has engaged in six so far this season, according to Hockey Fights.

    Wow.. Brown is all about the fast rights but man Volpatti is one tough guy to keep standing throughout that barrage.
