A controversial AHL demotion last week, forward Peter Holland has been called back up to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Holland had three goals and 10 shots in the two games he played for the Marlies. Though whether head coach Randy Carlyle is prepared to give the 22-year-old meaningful minutes remains to be seen.

The struggling Leafs -- with just four regulation wins in their last 33 games -- visit Boston to play the Bruins tomorrow.

To make room for Holland, forward Jerry D’Amigo was assigned to the Marlies.
