Two bits of good news for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

First, Sami Salo’s lower-body injury isn’t serious; for now, the veteran defenseman is considered day-to-day.

Second, goalie Ben Bishop (sprained wrist) is healthy enough to back up Anders Lindback tonight in Columbus. Bishop will likely start tomorrow in Manhattan versus the Rangers. (AHL call-up Cedrick Desjardins is reportedly headed back to Syracuse this afternoon.)

Tampa Bay is coming off a 6-3 win Saturday in Philadelphia. Jon Cooper’s team is an impressive 15-9-4 since star sniper Steven Stamkos broke his right tibia on Nov. 11.
