It’s not that unusual for a hockey player to get cut by a skate blade (Zack Kassian’s bad luck was jarring, but not surprising), but how often does that happen in the torso area? It happened to Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn on Tuesday, as he took a skate to the hip/stomach area during tonight’s NBCSN game against the New Jersey Devils:
