Tampa Bay has put enforcer Pierre-Cedric Labrie on waivers, according to TSN’s Darren Dreger.

Labrie, 27, has appeared in 13 games for the Bolts this year, going pointless while racking up 20 PIM with a minus-4 rating. His waiving comes as fellow forward Ryan Malone appears ready to be activated from IR, according to the Tampa Bay Times, meaning Labrie will be off to AHL Syracuse should he clear.

An undrafted free agent signing, Labrie -- a big body, at 6-foot-3, 234 pounds -- has appeared in 46 NHL contests, all with Tampa Bay.
