Video: Canucks’ Sestito fights Jets’ Peluso

Dec 22, 2013, 9:37 PM EDT

One thing was for sure: Tom Sestito of the Vancouver Canucks and Anthony Peluso weren’t exchanging Christmas pleasantries.

The two enforcers dropped the gloves late in the first period of Sunday’s game, with the Canucks holding a 1-0 lead over the visiting Jets. The fight just seemed to start along the boards, as the two were involved in a battle for the puck.

We apologize for the players that got in the way of the camera toward the later part of this fight.

Since when did an enforcer wear a half-shield? Peluso needs to take that off.

Since the NHL decided that grown men aren’t capable of choosing which type of equipment to wear

or maybe he doesn’t want to be hit in the eye with a puck…

Sestito i think this is the first time he won a fight. Peluso has to wear the visor he is not exempt from wearing it.
