Rangers unveil Stadium Series jerseys

Dec 20, 2013, 3:51 PM EDT

The New York Rangers have unveiled the jerseys they’ll be wearing for a pair of Stadium Series games — Jan. 26 versus New Jersey and Jan. 29 versus the New York Islanders.

As part of the unveil, the Rangers enlisted the services of Dan Girardi and Yankees manager Joe Girardi:

No word on why the Blueshirts weren’t able to enlist the services of noted mystery author Robert Girardi. It will remain — wait for it — a mystery.

These look nice. Not a fan of the Rangers, but I’d rock those threads.

Funny video. Those jerseys are pretty sick!

Is it me or do they have a Team USA vibe to them?

These are the best outdoor jerseys by far. This, coming from a Ducks fan . . . An out of focus shiny web-footed “D” on an orange sweater? Third grade art project hastily done just prior to it being due . . .

Yes – unfortunately, the Ducks sweaters are really bad… These Ranger’s ones are pretty cool but do look a little Olympics USA-ish.

Agreed. Not a fan of either the Ducks or Kings outdoor jerseys.

I like ‘em. They look new but somehow classic all at once.

i really wish the rangers would have been considered the home team for one of their two stadium series games. i’m just not a fan of white jerseys. they’re too easy to stain! a minor silly gripe i know.

I like them a lot. Well done.

    Chicago just unveiled theirs. Yuck.

Best ones I’ve seen! Just a well put together, classy jersey. Maybe a Blues-Hawks game at Busch Stadium next year? ;)

People at Wrigley Field wouldn’t know what to do with a decent sized crowd…

These are really nice jerseys. But seriously you couldn’t find a way to put pinstripes on it in honor of your hosts?

they cant just put up pictures? everything always has to be some sort of production with this team.
